Edinburgh is located close to the center of Scotland, where it could be a good starting point for a wonderful trip to Glasgow, Stirling and even the magical Highlands.

Fly in to Edinburgh Airport (16km away) with flights from KLM, LUFTHANSA and AEGEAN OLYMPIC AIR with intermediate stops.
TRANSPORTATION
Both tourists and residents prefer to travel by foot as most of the distances within the city are relatively small. Nevertheless you can use both buses and taxis. The morphology of the city is not suitable for cycling as there are several hills, although you will see people riding bikes.
